Bart was born in Italy and came to New York at 17 there he studied at Phoenix School of Art . After a successful Thirty Five year career as a freelance illustrator Bart is dividing his time between teaching and painting. He has taught at Fashion Institute of Technology, Pratt and currently is teaching at National Art League, United Federation of Teachers and in Westhampton Beach. He is represented by galleries in New Jersey and Long Island.
