Homebound Delivery Service
The Library provides homebound delivery service to our patrons who are unable to visit the Library due to a temporary or permanent illness or a disability. Any person eligible for a library card at our Library can receive service. This includes all residents of the Westhampton Beach Union Free School District, the Remsenburg-Speonk Union Free School District, the Eastport-South Manor Central School District, the East Moriches Union Free School District, and the East Quogue School District.
Homebound patrons are able to request titles from our library collection, or have a staff member choose materials for them. Materials are delivered on a regular basis and picked up at a scheduled date for return to the Library. All items in the library collection are available for loan to homebound patrons. Item limits as established in our library circulation policy apply to homebound cardholders, as to patrons visiting the Library in person.
Applications and approval are necessary to qualify for this service, which is free of charge. Please contact our Homebound & Outreach Team by email at homebound@westhamptonlibrary.org or by phone at (631) 288-3335, ext. 161, for details and an application. Or, you can download the application by clicking on the link below.
