The Westhampton Free Library is a not-for-profit corporation that has served the Westhampton community since 1897. It is seeking volunteers who are interested in serving as members of the Board of Trustees.

The Board consists of a range of five to seven people who regularly meet at the Westhampton Free Library on the third Wednesday of the month beginning at 6:00 pm and for special meetings as may be necessary. Currently, the Board has a vacancy for one member but is interested in gauging community interest in serving as a Trustee not only now but in the future.

To be eligible to serve as a trustee, you must be a registered voter, a resident of the Westhampton Beach School District, and dedicated to public service. Board members are not paid for their service, but the opportunity to serve our community is rewarding.
