The Idea Place is still under construction but fun and exciting programming has continued just the same! This past week we had STEAM: Cork Boats with Miss Marie, Coding Craze with Miss Brianne, and a colorful drop in craft of Spring Egg Collages. See pictures from the programs below:

For the STEAM: Cork Boats, our participants built boats out of recycled cork and tested their buoyancy and sailing abilities!

During Coding Craze, our participants learned how to use Dot and Dash robots, which are controlled through a phone or tablet application.

Finally, the Spring Egg Collages were made with crayon shavings, melted between wax paper. They could be used as wall hangings or as colorful sun catchers!
