Watercolor Mugs

On Saturday, June 10th, Miss Victoria conducted a Watercolor Mugs craft program. Using just paint and water we decorated ceramic mugs with swirling watercolor designs. The mugs have to dry for 24 hours and then be baked at 325 degrees for 30 minutes. Once the paint is baked on…ta da! You have a beautiful, handmade, unique mug 🙂

Here is what some of the finished mugs looked like:

As you can see in the picture above, if more paint was used, the brighter, more vibrant the colors appeared. If more water was used, the softer, more pastel-like the colors became.
