The Fault in Our Stars by John Green follows a 16 year old girl named Hazel Grace Lancaster who battles cancer but has fun doing it. She goes on an adventure with her very special friend named Augustus Waters who she meets in a church support group. They wish to meet the author Peter Van Houten of their favorite book, Imperial Affliction, to provide them with answers that she and Augustus have about the ending. Augustus is able to fly them to Amsterdam, where the author lives, to talk to him personally. Unfortunately, the unexpected happens leading to the death of a loved one forever changing their lives.
I think this book is the best one yet! It will touch many hearts, as it did to mine. The Fault in Our Stars definitely had me at the edge of my seat and I was totally surprised with all the ironic events generated by Green. This book made me want to read more of Green’s books and I am sure it will have the same affect to all readers. Overall, I loved the book and I would most likely recommend this novel to anyone who loves adventurous books.
