3-D Tween Workshop

Check out this awesome 3D structure designed by one of our Tween patrons!  Using a special program on our computers, students were able to fully design a structure and have it printed using our 3D printer.  Pretty cool!

Wishing Jars

Tweens transformed boring mason jars into magical wishing jars! We used sparkly decoupage, inspirational words, & quotes to decorate their special jars.  Tweens then filled the jars with wishes.  Everyone had fun!

Tween Magnificent Marble Maze!

Tweens had a blast designing their own magnificent marble maze with paper towel tubes, popsicle sticks, pipe cleaners, tape, and recycled materials.  They tested their mazes to see who had the fastest and the most dynamic.

Chinese Noodle Salad

In the month of January, the Idea Place celebrated Chinese culture. We made Chinese paper lanterns, fortune cookies, read Tikki Tikki Tembo, and more. Rob Scott helped us celebrate by teaching our children and tweens how to make a Chinese Noodle Salad. It looked delicious! Join us in February for French themed programs!
